The big boys

Now a little update on the big boys! 

Well we've been in Star Wars heaven for the past few moths, as evidence above. We now own 4 light sabers. Alexander has made countless (really!) Star Wars books. Our Star Wars lego collection is ever-growing, a guest can't walk into the house without being quizzed on Star Wars trivia...and Alexander even made me flash cards to help me learn some of the Star Wars jargon. 

Besides the Star Wars phenomenon, the boys have been really doing great this fall. Alexander is loving going to school! The transition could not have gone better. He gets along with his teacher and has proved to be quite the social butterfly in class. He walks in the door so proud everyday. It's wonderful to see! Isaac has been going to preschool, and that's going well too! (We've been dealing with other three-year-old antics, but that I'm saving for another post.). Isaac has been singing "Jesus loves me" and "I've got the joy in my heart" for Samuel every day. It is so sweet. I'm just amazed at how grown up the boys are getting. It has made my life so much more manageable, given everything we've been through the past few weeks. Don't get me wrong, every day is not sunshine and rainbows. But let's just say the transition (premature baby, school, preschool etc) could have gone a LOT worse...the big boys have handled it all very well.

We are suddenly a family of 5 and every day brings new surprises and challenges. That keeps life exciting, I suppose!
