Halloween!! (better late than never....)

Samuel at at almost 8 weeks old
🎉

Halloween was really a great day this year! It was our first time trick-or-treating in our neighborhood while living in the house (we went last year, but weren't closed on the house yet).

To start out the day, Isaac got dressed up as Hulk for preschool. The preschoolers put on a parade and sang some songs- both fall themed plus "Jesus loves me" and "I've got the joy down in my heart." Isaac was beaming with pride afterwards...."Mommy, I saw you at my parade. I (hulk) was guarding Sophia from the bad guys." 😊

Next on the Halloween agenda was watching Alexander's parade at Tcgis. I had come fully prepared- stroller for a sleeping Isaac and carrier for Samuel. Felt totally on top of it! It was a beautiful fall afternoon. The parade was sweet, but the whole-school flashmob dance of ghostbusters was great! It's the first time I've seen Alexander participate in a school performance. I felt very proud of him. Samuel decided to scream the whole way home, which deflated my feelings of being "on top if it"! But nevertheless, we made it home.

Watching the boys do trick-or-treating was SO much fun. Omama, Grandpa and Grandma all came to be a part of our evening. Isaac chatted it up with everyone...."I like your decorations" or "Your house is really spooky but I'm not scared" or "Wow, thanks for the candy." Isaac also decided after about 5 houses, that he couldn't see in his Darth Vader mask, so he took it off. Alexander was happy that most of the candy was chocolate (he doesn't like other candies). It was such a fun night!
